My Trip: Travelling to Japan

I just wanted to share some 

photos from a trip I had last 

year in Japan!🌸


I was 18 at the time, it was my first time travelling alone/abroad for a few days, I stayed at a hostel and later met up with a friend. I was lucky enough to be able to visit a lot of places and tourist attractions in 1 week: Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Gunma, Niigata, and a few other places. I was in a long-distance relationship with a boyfriend from Japan for a few years. 
 So it was the first time we met, he was kind enough to help with a lot of the costs, so I'm really fortunate for the experience, 😊 we had a good time traveling around :). 

 It was very memorable and I highly recommend going to Japan, the landscapes there are like no other!

         The countryside was so beautiful! It is too underrated in my opinion and should be more common to visit, it is quite stunning. From city to nature or tradition, culture and customs, there is something for everyone in Japan. The food is delicious and the people there are incredibly friendly, and were super helpful whenever I got lost, I felt really safe too. Many people walking around late at night or biking. 

 I went from August 14th - 22nd last year Summer 2018. All the way from Vancouver YVR to Kansai International Airport (Osaka),
 I must say the flight seemed incredibly short and comfy for a 10 or 11+ hour flight. I'll share some pictures on here :) that I took from my trip feel free to scroll down and look at them.   7.  Arashiyama (Bamboo Forest)

  9. Senso-ji Historic Temple
  10. Countryside Gardens and Mountain ( Gunma, and Niigata) Roadtrip by Car drive was 3-4 hours
  11. I Almost went to Mt.fuji but didn't get to due to :( bad weather, but can't complain. Overall I saw a lot in very little time so I'm lucky.
  12. Akihabara :) 
  13. Extras: Owl Cafe in Akihabara ("OWL Cafe"), Dog cafe in Shibuya ("DOG HEART cafe"), and Cat Cafe in Tokyo/ Harajuku  (" Cat Cafe Mocha")

I hope to save up and visit again but this time for Cherry blossom- Spring season :) or Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Is it ever too late to do anything in life? Motivational speech

Hello :) recently, I've been a little down on myself and I know we can all get like this, we can easily have those off days where everything is going wrong. Or we are simply being too tough on ourselves. As for myself lately I've been comparing myself to others or in general feel pressured by social norms or expectations, i.e by 20 you should be in college/finishing a i.e 4 year degree, bachelors or starting your career, or maybe you started late into university but there's nothing wrong with that sometimes it gives you a maturity advantage, after all why are we told to pick our career at 17 or 18 when if we got tattoed for example at 17 or 18, it's something that similarly stays with you for life and is a big choice and commitment, yet if we are told don't get a tattoo until you are in your 20's or 25 and older or you will regret it, then why are we told to make one of the biggest decisions in our life when we are still learning and experiencing more of this w...

So what is “Mindfulness”? "Hakuna Matata"

   Some of you may be familiar with mindfulness , while others may be new to it. Maybe you’ve heard it before but never really looked into it and never knew what people were referring to. Don’t worry! If that’s your case I will have a brief explanation as to what Mindfulness is :). We all live in such a busy world, whether you are being occupied with too many to-do lists, or could just relax a little bit more. Mindfulness is being present, not focusing on the past or on the future, as hard as that might be sometimes with regrets, mistakes or experiences in the past even though they do not “define us”. Or worrying about the future. That’s relatively how it may be for most of us. And that’s okay, it’s normal, but mindfulness is being in the here and now. The “Hakuna Matata” of life.
